I have always been a firm believer in the saying " Practice what you preach." Health, wellness, and fitness are not just a career for me but a lifestyle. Over the years, I have done my best to instill this philosophy in not only my clients, but trainers who have worked for and with me as well.

11 years ago I started my career in college while I played football. I would write workouts and design "pre" and "post" competition meal plans for the other athletes at Iowa Central. After graduation, I worked at a variety of gyms from Body Wise in North Sioux City, South Dakota, to Gold’s Gym. After looking at the different cultures of each gym, I found a home at 24 Hour Fitness in Omaha, NE. During my 9 years, I was recognized as one of the top trainers in the company. In 2003, I was promoted to fitness manager that ended up bringing me to St. Charles in 2005. Most of the current Emerge staff and I worked together to make the St. Charles location the number one club in the district each month as well as reaching the top club in the company three times. I returned to Omaha in January of 2007. After a few months, I decided to continue my education, so I stepped down as fitness manager to get back to my true passion, personal training.

In November 2008, I left 24 Hour Fitness and the corporate gym atmosphere to train independently at a private studio where I trained an average of 40 plus clients week. I decided to take another step forward in my career and become a business co-owner of an exclusive studio called "UBX". I opened the studio to not only have a place of my own to train my personal clients, but also a place that elite trainers could train; they could graduate from the corporate world and get rewarded with no restrictions to do what they love best. After selling my share of the studio, I decided I wanted to take on a bigger, more aggressive role and train athletes at Emerge. My primary focus is athletic training, sports performance, strength and conditioning. However I have an extensive background in post rehabilitation to orthopedic surgeries, stroke victims, and paraplegic. I have had clients in every age range with goals of weight loss, body fat reduction, and overall strength and muscle development.
