Emerge's ATP program (Athletic Training and Performance) is a division of Emerge Fitness that focuses on athletic training and performance enhancement. Every athlete involved in the program will have an individual movement assessment and baseline testing taken to objectively measure increases in athletic ability.

The program will include core stability exercises, strength and power training, corrective exercise and flexibility training, speed, agility and endurance training in varying degrees depending on the athlete's sport and individual strengths and weaknesses. Emerge has several of the highest qualified, most experienced athletic trainers in St. Louis on staff.

We have trained all level of athletes, from 7 years old to NFL athletes to Olympic gold medallists. An Emerge athletic trainer can design the perfect performance enhancing program for you.

Speed Camps

Emerge speed camps focus on more than just running drills. Our staff will first work with each athlete to identify movement impairments, then develop a corrective exercise program to optimize movement mechanics. This is important for injury prevention and the insurance of efficient, energy sparing movement.

The step by step preparation for training is emphasized including the importance of an individualized warmup, activating the muscle tissue that will be called upon in the speed and agility training drills.

The complete understanding of the science of movement and learning how to efficiently speed up and change direction rapidly is emphasized. The end result is a change in how an athlete moves, not just a "tough workout."
