More Fitness Tips
After working in the weight loss/fitness industry for years and personally dealing with the ups and downs of weight loss and fitness, I know that playing the yo yo game with weight loss and fitness is stressful to the mind and body and isn’t healthy. Teaming with and being accountable to a professional who knows what it takes to create a program that includes all components of a healthy lifestyle is critical if you want to lose weight/fat, change body composition, and gain strength and flexibility that you can MAINTAIN for a lifetime. Diet and exercise plus flexibility are all essential to feeling good both physically and mentally. Despite what our culture might lead us to believe, being lean, strong and fit are not reserved for the “young” only.
Although I have 20 plus years on most of my colleagues in the personal training industry, I have been and continue to be committed to working continuously on my own fitness program with results that I hope I role model daily. If you want to lose weight, get stronger, change your body composition, regain balance and stability, all things that directly impact quality of life - Talk To Me. I have the knowledge, skills and experience to help you meet and maintain your goals.
I have worked as a Personal Trainer for 6 years. Prior to working in the personal training industry, I worked at Weight Watchers as Regional Manager of Greater Missouri & Southern Illinois for 10 years. Before that, I worked as a meeting leader & motivational trainer for 20 years.
I have been a runner for 14 years and have completed a marathon along with many half marathons, 10Ks and 5Ks. I started running when I was 43 and have continued to become a more efficient, faster runner. I contribute much of my fat loss, not only to diet, but also to running.
