I’ve been getting this question a lot lately…
“What is the difference between Olympic lifting and powerlifting?”
The answer is very, very simple.
Olympic lifting involves two movements.
1. Clean and jerk
2. Snatch
Powerlifting involves three movements.
1. Squat
2. Deadlift
3. Bench press
All of these are amazing movements and most people will prefer one over the other. However, their terms should not be used interchangeably.
