Speed Camps

The step-by-step preparation for training is emphasized including the importance of an individualized warm-up, activating the muscle tissue that will be called upon in the speed and agility training drills.

The complete understanding of the science of movement and learning how to efficiently speed up and change direction rapidly is emphasized. The end result is a change in how an athlete moves, not just a "tough workout."

Weightlifting Camps

With the increased number of recreational athletes and competitive sport athletes performing Olympic Weightlifting exercises, Emerge Fitness has elevated their services by staffing Certified USA Weightlifting Level 1 and Level 2 Sport Performance Coaches. These Coaches provide technique expertise in group and one-on-one sessions. The training process begins with a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) in which movement abilities and limitations will be identified in order to correct an augment proper technique. Following the FMS training will begin by breaking down each movement into its smaller units while developing technique, strength, and ultimately power within each smaller unit. As the performance increases in each of the smaller units, the athlete will begin bringing each unit together through performing both the Clean & Jerk and the Snatch in their entirety. Upon successful display of proper technique the athlete will have attained the ability to now directly increase athletic performance by pushing the envelope within the Olympic Lifts.
